“Karma Challenge” follows a group of individuals striving to change aspects of their lives — guided by the playfully and uncompromising presence of musician Steff la Cheffe. From cutting down on online shopping to performing acts of kindness, the film weaves together six stories about resolutions that prove far more challenging than they first appear.
The first step is always the hardest. As the leader of a fictional self-help group, Steff la Cheffe confronts her participants with this very truth. Drawing from her own experience, she encourages them to reflect on their habits and take responsibility for their actions. What begins as a simple challenge evolves into a deeper exploration of personal limits, motivation, and change.
Each protagonist embarks on their own Karma Challenge, pushing themselves beyond comfort zones. Will they truly transform their lives — or will the effort become too great? And perhaps most importantly: can their journey inspire others to do the same?
